A message from Australia

This morning a young bird flew into our glass door and knocked itself out.  We decided to reuse your travel buddy box for the bird to recover in.  We just wanted to let you know that your box came in handy and that it was a special thing to reuse your box that you sent us.

Learning About Trees

We are learning about trees. We know how trees make food and why leaves change color in fall:

The Eagles have landed!

Our class mailed two travel buddy eagles to our friends in Australia. They will spend the school year down under, with students there recording their adventures in journals. We received an early morning email announcing their arrival at the home of teacher, Mrs. Eleison.

Dear Mrs Arnett and students,

We have arrived safely in Australia.  We are very happy to be out of our box.  The trip was very long.  We will let you know about our fun adventures with our new friends.

Thinking of you all,

Uncle Sam and Craig
